Can Your Finished $5,000 Home Improvement Project Turn Into A $12,000 Repair?
This Happens More Than You’d Think!
There are a few types of home improvements that can go horribly wrong, more than others.
Imagine you finish that big project you’d wanted to do for a while, only to learn that the work was done so badly, that now you have a damaged home and the new bill to fix it will be larger than the home improvement was originally!
Installing A Home Facade
These projects are more likely to cause this scenario:
Painting - Poor surface prep, wrong products, painting the wrong things, dripping paint, and so on can really mess up your home.
Reroofing - A poor installation can commonly require a whole new roof!
New Exterior Facade Items (Siding, Windows, Etc.) - This one is the worst. Mess this one up and you’ll have water intrusion you don’t even know about!
If you are undertaking one of these projects, it is critical that you follow every step in our previous guides to hiring contractors.
