Wall Mount Options

These racks hang on the wall as shown above. The rack can pivot 180 degrees.

This option requires you to be able to lift the bike and place it onto the rack.

This motorized lifting platform mounts to the wall in your garage. The platform lowers to the ground so you can roll your bikes onto the rack and then press a button to lift the bikes to the ceiling.

Ceiling Mount Options

By far the cheapest option for getting your bikes off the floor. Two basic bike hooks either secured directly to your ceiling framing or to a long board which has been secured to your ceiling framing.

This option requires you to be able to lift the bike and place it onto the hooks. This may not be possible for taller ceilings.

About $10 per bike.

Closing Thoughts

• There are of course hundreds of variations of the products shown above. All of them will likely get the job done.

• Ceiling mount is usually the best option. The only question is whether you want to muscle the bikes up there, or have a mechanical lift.
