Quick Door Latch Tip

Do your door latches not close or operate easily?

It is usually a simple fix.

Four Easy Steps To Fixing Your Sticking Door Latch

1. Remove the door handles (This is usually just 2 screws to remove, and often you can press a button on the handle shaft to remove the handle and get it out of your way to remove the 2 screws).

2. Unscrew the door latch

3. Spray all the moving parts of the door latch with a lubricant such as WD-40 or oil.

4. Reinstall all.
